Hello everyone

I am looking to buy a new arranger keyboard
Found a tyros 4 for $1800
But a new psr s975 is on that price range also

My question to all yamaha masters here, which will you recommend for me to buy:
Tyros 4 or the psr s975?

I play mostly classical, bossanova, big bands, and more karaoke sing-alongs at home

Thank you for all the inputs

Toril S

Definitively S975. Or S775 if you do not sing. The Tyros 4 is not comparible with Yamaha expansion manager. And it is big and heavy.

Genos, Tyros 5, PSR S975, PSR 2100
and PSR-47.
Former keyboards: PSR-S970.

Comparison of Tyros4 vs. S975:
- in the flagship better workmanship, plastic buttons, keyboard incomparably better, with aftertouch, elevated display;
- sound similar, but in Tyros fuller.... In the S-ce more modern sounds;
- the possibility of adding new sounds exists in both of them, but to the S-ka it is much more convenient, probably through YEM, which (I hope) will be more and more developed;
- availability of commercial styles on a similar level, but all the novelties are created first for a newer model;
- In T4 you can play with 3 colours for right hand, in S-ce two;
- Tyros has more outputs, e.g. SUB.

Gio,
I currently own a PSR S975 and have also owned a Tyros 4.  I would buy the Tyros 4 with no regrets at all.
