Can anyone suggest suitable Styles /Registrations for the wonderful Welsh tune 'Calon Lan' please?

Hello Peter yes calon llan is a lovely welsh piece I play it to the ethereal style with the choirs on my p.s.r.s970 (Lofty Dave )

Not "llan" Dave, "calon lân", a "pure heart", or, as I prefer "guileless heart". It's still the hymn that makes my eyes sting - I used to sing bottom bass in a Welsh male voice choir.

Thanks Alan for pointing that out .our team leader at the gwili railway is chairman of the local choir in Carmarthen its a good job he didn't see my mistake I would have been pulled up about it too they are putting on a concert in October I think its 60 yr celebration .I will be putting on my renderings on my s 970 in the next day or two Lofty (Dave)

Just to give those not acquainted with the glorious singing that accompanies any international rugby union match in which the Welsh nation has an interest, this is the tune of the hymn "Calon Lân" which will be sung at some point before and during the game.

I'm not at all sure why you're doing this in this thread. There's more to this style than your first offering in that it's got two drum-kits, a bass, a guitar and something else I didn't bother to note. But it's not a style for the beautiful Welsh hymn that's the subject of this thread.
