Need to press Registration Button twice

Hi

I have a problem where I need to press Reg Mem Button 1 twice to get the Voice I expected.

I typically use only 1 Reg Mem Bank per Song, so I only use Reg Mem Button 1 on these Songs.

This problem only applies to only a few Songs and it happens every time on these Songs.
When I select the Registration from the screen and then press Reg Mem Button 1, the Style and everything else is set up correctly, but I don't get the Voice that I'm expecting. If I press Reg Mem Button 1 a second time, then the correct Voice is selected.

Any ideas why this would happen please ?

Are you playing along to midi files where the first voice used is set into the midi. If so you will have to press twice. Once to bring up the midi and once to reset the voice.

Lovely to hear from you again. No, I'm not playing along to a midi file, but there are midi files attached to probably all my Registrations, even if its just the "Achy Breaky Heart" Song.
I've played around with your idea, but I can't figure out why this is happening on just a few Registrations.

Post one of your problem registrations so we can take a look at it for you.

Usually if you have saved a link to a midi song to a registration then when you press the first registration it will set up the first sounds you used when you recorded the midi. A lot of people want to play along with there songs and want this to happen. If you take the midi song tick out of memory and then resave your registration bank (All eight buttons) Then resave the whole bank this should clear the problem.

I've had the same problem Eileen and thought it was a dodgy contact on registration 1.   Thanks for the explanation.
