Another Studio Singers Question

Hi,

I just bought and installed this on my S970 using YEM. I can see and use the voices just fine, but I don't see any styles. Can someone who has this confirm whether there are styles included? The description seems to state that there are some.

There are just voices in that package. Below is the Musicsoft description.

"Studio Singers' is a Voice Expansion Pack for PSR-S770, PSR-S970, Tyros5, and Genos comprised of 20 Voices recreating Singers in styles from warm pads to Pop, Jazz and more."

If there are no styles,
That description is so misleading

I agree that description could mean in the "style of"

Rather than having any actual styles.

It would be best to check with the seller as to exactly what that means.

If you meant this pack :-

Then it should contain some syles.

It doesn't tell anything about new styles but that is one must be really cool:

It is very cool and you can have some fun play this.
There is no styles to select from tha pack, but a demosong (same as the one at webpage) that most likely use a reworked style.

That is strange that you don't think there are any styles with the pack as further down the page I saw this :-

The pack includes two banks of Registration Memories, featuring reverberant Pad layers, and Preset Styles revoiced with Pack Voices.

Unless I am looking at the wrong expansion pack $:-\$

Yea, this is exactly why I am confused. If some of the preset styles were revoiced to use the voices in the expansion pack, where are they?

I bought it from Yamaha, so I'm not clear what value the web address would be. And I had/have no plans to upload it anywhere.

I assume that is where you bought it from?

If so then contact them and ask where the styles etc are?

Was it posted to you or did you download it?

Have you checked on the media to see where the styles are listed?

You have to load the registration banks to get the 'Styles Remixes'.
I.o.w, it's the 'onboard styles' but remixed with contents from the pack. There is no additional styles to see if try load styles 'the usual way'.

I think also the same as Jonny said.
The pack is using preset styles and not new ones.

So when you call up these registrations you can find the styles that the voice drumkit fits perfectly.

It would be nice if someone made some nice patterns(beats) from scratch with this drumkit and shared them with the others who have this pack.

Jamist you could use this drumkit for every style you wish by changing the original drum kits of rhythm 1+2 with this one.
Maybe it fit with some styles or maybe sound funny and gives you inspiration
