I am not familiar with ForScore, therefore not able to provide your with an opinion.   Based on the comments on this forum, it is probably a good option.

However, i have SongBook+ on my iPad and yes, to me it is worth the money.  i have all my PDF's into my iPad/SongBook+ and control the registrations on my Genos keyboard from the iPad.   Once i select a song in SongBook+ it immediately loads the PDF and the registration on the keyboard and viceversa.

With SongBook+ you can also create playlists, and it has many other features that i probably do not even use to its full extent.

The connection between the iPad/SongBook+ with the Genos or Tyros keyboard is straight forward.

I highly recommend SongBook+.

Have a great day.

If you want the iPad and the keyboard to talk to each other (as Al does when loading the song in Songbook loads the relevant registration on the keyboard), then Songbook is the app you want.

If you don't want this feature, save your money, and use something else, like Forscore.

I have been using forScore over a number of years now and find it to be terrific.

Hope this helps :)

....as do I, on both counts. Bear in mind that you'll probably need a page-turner for anything other than single-sheet songs.

SongBook is really good with 'annotations', Re-naming chords  etc.
And blocking out unwanted lyrics etc

I could not think of doing a gig or even playing at home without -
Loading a Registration and there, my sheet music is ready to go on my iPad Pro

My sheets look like this -
Colours are OTS change
No page turner required.
