Hello all,
I'm trying add Trill to the hackbrett voice (found in the strings library)
I go into the Voice Setting screen, tab all the way to the Harmony/Arp screen and select Trill.
How can I increase the trill amount ?
I have tried assigning live control (2) and selected the 'multiply' line. But in-vain.
What step am I missing? If at all possible to increase the trill on this voice.
Maybe trill is not the correct effect. I'm basically trying to get the santoor sound where the hammer is continually on a particular note. Any ideas?
Thanks

Should have mentioned, I'm using PSR s970

Hi Sandeep,

On the Harmony/Echo display, after setting the 'Type' that you want (Tremolo, Trill or Echo) from the 'Echo' category,  press 'Detail' (#7 buttons) to open the detail setting window.

There is a setting called 'Speed' which sets the speed of these three effects.  Use the #6 buttons to try out the different settings of this to get closest to the effect that you want.

You could also set the 'Touch Limit' if you like.  If this is set above 0, the effect will only be applied on notes played at the velocity set here and above. I don't know if this would be useful for emulating playing the Santur!

BTW there is a Santur voice in the 'ChromaticPerc' sub-category of the 'GM&XG' voice category which you might want to audition if you have not already done so.

Thanks Ian.

I didn't not know that one could check different  parameters in "Details" window. Thanks a lot will try this today.
I did see the Santur voice. Some how the default voice settings for Hackbrett are pretty cool. The Indian Ent Pack also has a Santoor. It still isn't as crisp as the Hackbrett. Will adjust settings and see what works best.
