Hello friends. I have struggle the whole day to get my S970 to work as instructions say it shall. It says that you can make original OTS settings in a style by selecting the desired voice, and then press the OTS button. A pop up window will ask you to save the style. No such pop up window here. and no luck saving any settings. The screens just alternate between registration screen and the voice selection screen. Other users say they can do it, so something must be wrong with my keyboard. I remember trying this before, but with no luck. I am not happy now. Maybe Eileen has some help to offer here? Friends have supplied me with manual and instruction, but it doesn't work. I am so frustrated!!

After selecting the voice, you need to press the Memory button, then an OTS button.

ok lets do this to see where the problem is.

a) choose a style

b) press the white Memory button under the screen
Do you see something different on your screen?

c) press button 1 from One Touch Settings on the right side of your psr
Do you see anything different on your screen again?

Hi Toril
Here is the procedure:
1. Select the style
2. Make sure OTS link and ACMP are on.
3. Select the variation you want to change. Say. Var 1.
4. Select the new voice say piano( Piano now highlighted and if you play you hear piano.)
5. Press "Memory button"next to freeze then variation 1 on right hand side of keyboard.
6. You will get a pop up box (OTS has been changed choose yes)
7.Go back to where original style is stored and it will be highlighted. At the bottom you will see save.
Save the change and your good to go.

Thanks, Panos. Fred and Ed B!!   Red face, red face! I did one mistake, - I pressed OTS buttons on the LEFT side, never thought of the ones on the right. Thank you for your patience and help. What would I do without you?
