Hi All:

I've finally completed an update to the Registration Manager program (YRM) mainly to include the features of Genos, and it's now available for download.

What's New in Version 5.1:
•   Genos, CVP 309, CVP 705 and CVP 709 Keyboards added to the targets
•   Tyros 5-76 added as separate target
•   Lower split point added for keyboards of more than 61 keys
•   Harmony values added to OTS Select
•   French language option (based on Google translate)
•   Added, remove path from custom file names
•   Correction of some version 5 errors and improved layout in some screens
Installing Version 5.1
•   Download and run the installation program:  YRM510A.msi

Link: http://bit.ly/YRM510

This version will automatically replace the current version 5, but continues to install separately from version 4. The shortcut to the new version will be YRM 5.1. You can use  Add/Remove programs to remove Version 4 if you wish.

If Windows Smartscreen is set to Block or Warn, you may receive a message warning about the install.  You can use Run Anyway, or set Smartscreen "Off" in Windows Defender Control to allow installation to proceed. Remember to turn it back on when you're finished.

When you first start YRM 5.1, a pop up will alert you to the need to select your target keyboard.  The addition of Genos has changed the index numbers of the target keyboards.

If you are new to YRM, the document attached is a summary of its features.

•   Download the User Manual:

German version link: http://bit.ly/YRM510German

Thank you goes out to the new Genos owners who contributed their time to support the development of the Genos options.  Paul Cocking who created dozens of registrations needed to extract the detail Genos codes.  Arno Schultk for suggesting improvement to Foot Pedal presentation and creation of the Assignable Button area. Etienne from Belgium and Wolfgang Thiel for helping sort through the Song A and B settings.

We need to also thank Klaus Mertz for updating the German translation on the screens and the user manual, and finally Peter Derkx (aka Xeenix) for inspiring and trying new ideas with this program.  Without these folks, this update would not have been possible.

Hope you enjoy!

Cheers,

Murray

One can do without most things, but not without the pleasure of music.

Hi,

I think we need to thank you in the very first place Murray for your tremendous and continues efforts to make our keyboard lives quite a bit easier. I think we often don't realize how many hours go into programming a useful tool. That you do it in your spare time and on top of that for free earns my deep respect! So thank you my friend for doing this. That the same thing is true for other programmers like Michael and Jørgen amongst others goes without saying. But on the other hand I think: We can't say this enough :)

kind regards,
Peter

Hi Murray:
As you know I did some additional work by supporting you mainly with translating the English manual to German and helping creating the German YRM-screens. And this cooperation with you was one of the best in my life.
Whenever proposals for changes to the YRM-programme of other fellows arose you found a solution and realized that in very short time frames. It was a pleasure to contribute to this cooperation with you.
I know too, that 99% of the programming workload was made by only you alone. And most of the people who uses this outstanding utility don't really know what this means: thousands and thousands of lines of code to be checked, changed, tested, rechecked, and so on.
Sisyphos could be an example for that what you did ! Therefore I am very proud having pesonally contributed to the success of the software and of your work.
Several people asked me how they could honour your efforts and I do it in behalf of many of them: To thank you deeply and whole-hearted.
Murray: all the best to you and remain healthy as long as it is possible !
Yours, Klaus

Best Regards

Hello Murray,
A great job to collect information on styles, pads, voices and all the parameters that go with it.
Your software is very useful for my research in registrations.
I made a small program to send sy*** to my T5 from the list of styles with the code

00sBoyBand; 5726
12-8Ballad; 7716
16BeatBallad1; 8224
16BeatBallad2; 8225
30sBigBand; 3911
40sSwingBallad; 1356
50sRock & Roll, 3695
60s8Beat; 5632

Ditto for multipads and voices
I guess for GENOS it's the same principle to send the 2 codes
code / 256 + Rest division

To complete my program, I am desperate for GENOS Pads and Voices lists.

Retired computer scientist for a long time, I know the workload that had to be to realize your software!

Excuse my english -> it's Google trad!

A little french :( ::)
