Tx all,

When I used Chrome instead everything works. Awesome downloads.

In Microsoft Edge I right-clicked on the Download button and said "Save Target As," which saved the file with an HTML extension. I then renamed the file to change the HTML extension to PPF, but I don't know if the file is good or not. I'll try it with Chrome and then do a binary comparison with the one saved from Edge to see if there are any differences.

Here's what I found out:

Microsoft Edge:
- If I left-click the "Download" button I get a page of text that tries to display the actual PPF file as though it were a text file.
- If I right-click the "Download" button and select "Save Target As" the file gets saved with a .HTML extension and must be renamed afterward to a .PPF extension.

Google Chrome:
- If I remember correctly, the file was downloaded automatically, then Chrome asked if I wanted to view it (open the file) or open its location (go to the folder).

Mozilla Firefox:
- When I left-clicked the "Download" button I got a prompt asking what I wanted to do, either "Open with ppf_auto_file (default)" or save the file.

After I downloaded and saved the file in those three browsers, I did a binary file comparison between all three and they were identical.

The problem seems to be that the .PPF file extension has a few different possible meanings-- i.e., it isn't unique to Yamaha-- and apparently Microsoft Edge is trying to be helpful by displaying the contents of the .PPF file within the browser window.

So you can either use the right-click and "Save Target" option, although you'll need to rename the file afterward to correct the file extension; or you can use Chrome; or you can use Firefox and save the file.
