I agree with Maarten. I also personally believe that the next PSR replacement will be released by mid-2019 and possibly will not carry the letter S. Greetings Hans

Perhaps the row of black buttons under the data wheel?  But, I doubt it, and you're probably right.  I doubt the registration buttons would be jammed so close together, when all the other buttons are spaced apart, and I doubt that they would be unnecessarily so far off center.  Plus, I don't see any live-control knobs.  I doubt the PSR-S970 successor would not include a feature like that which is on the S970.

The PSR S990 is going to be released this year probably this month! The NAMM 2018 IS ON 25TH OF JAN,2018 SO WILL WAIT N WATCH! ;D ;)
