Here's the complete Icon-listing of the Genos.

It took 12 hours to convert the Tyros5 list (that I created a few years ago) to this fine document.
Many Icons stayed at the same position, others got removed (country-flags are completely gone), switched places or had a more modern replacement. Of the 415 available Icons, only 160 show up in the 'rename' section.
With this document you can replace the S or T code of your files and use the other 255 as well.

I've compacted the number of pages by using 2 columns a much as possible. This shrunk the PDF from 24- to 16 pages.

Update the 5th of December: Now the Picture list is there as well: Guets are not allowed to view links. In order to access the links, please Register or Login

Have fun!

Hi Bert,

Same here.  Thanks a lot for your work!

Thanks! It's a tedious 'job', but with every new Yamaha top-of-the-line arranger I'm curious about the Icons.

Next project is to figure out what triggers the larger sound-Icons at the main screen, and to list them in a document as well.
To be continued...

Oh, I forgot to ask. Do they have a "face palm" icon?  :)  :)  :)

I could sure use one of those -- pj

So I guess the big images on the touch screen are just category images yet how does the Genos determine the
category when it comes to custom voices?

Bert, you are definitely, "Iconic", so to speak.

Thanks for your time and effort.

Nice! Thank you all for thanking me. It was a pleasure to create the document (and something I HAVE to do for whatever reason).

Now I've finished the Genos pictures (at the main page). There are only 19 pictures, as far as I could find.

Hi, this link to Guets are not allowed to view links. In order to access the links, please Register or Login seems to have gone down and is unreachable. I can see it was set up 3 years  ago, has it been moved to a new site/location

Thanks

David
Now have a CVP 809 as my wife plays Piano but not Keyboard - I had to PX a Genos to buy it, Also have an SX700 - I did previously own a Tyros.

Hi David,

this link (to that PDF of the Genos Main Screen pictures) is still working properly for me.

P.S.
I recently created a PDF on the Genos Icons (based on 12 screenshots taken from Bert's "Genos Icon Finder V1.0"). The download link is in this post:

● Everyone kept saying "That won't work!" - Then someone came along who didn't know that, and - just did it.
● Never put the Manual too far away: There's more in it than you think! ;-)
