Hello guys!

Today I have noticed, that Yamaha after the update 1.2 changes something in registration data files.

I have some old registrations made before update. To be precise it was a registration contain various voices of organ (pistons)(bought additional pack  - but it doesn't matter here, this is the same with Genos 2 original voices too).

I had registered it in that way:
Reg1. R1 on, R2 off, R3 off
Reg2. R1 off, R2 on, R3 off
Reg3. R1 off, R2 off, R3 on and so on...

When I hold some notes and changed registration sound was heard continuously. New played notes was belonging to the new Registration.

After the update 1.2 these registrations works that same as far as we save any changes in registration. New file is created with some new data and from that moment sound is cut while changing registration.

I have tried to save also style information and some other times not using it. Option used in my registration memory are:
Voices, style (only the Reg1.), live control, foot pedals, assignable buttons, keyboard harm/arp, midi settings, text.
I also tried to save style on every registration and the other option not to use it at all - effect is this same.

There is also no change in checking sustain and/or sostenuto for left and other parts, using it or not.

Here you can see what I am saying about. You can also try other registration there for original organ voices from Genos 2. Especially between Reg6. And Reg7. everything works fine, until saved it after update 1.2.

OK. I just found that if you have checked MIDI Setting box in memory registration, seamless sound will be cut. Simply to bring up MIDI settings if you want, just save it in just one registration in another Registration Bank and next load Registration you want to work with. It will be working properly  :)

Hello. Thank you.

To be precise, it is not connected with the MIDI player, which has another MIDI Song ,,Box check" in Registration Memory settings. The MIDI settings box in Registration Memory is connected with MIDI settings in MIDI settings on Menu2.
Since I started to use external MIDI controllers with Genos 2, I have to set a general settings for my MIDI channels. At the beginning I use different ,,combinations", so I check MIDI settings box in my Registrations Memory, but now when I know that seamless sound is cutting in that way, I have one general MIDI setting, and this check box I am leaving alone. In that way everything works great.
