Hi.
Could this YT video be for any help?
It's important to be careful with cable (connectors) that goes between the sub and keyboard. It's easy to damage if not put in correct position.
Also be sure that the headphones is noty connected, if so there will silent in the speakers.
Btw, manuals are usually for great help. 😉

Cheers & Happy Playing. 🍷 🎶🎵

Hi Colin,

The connection of the TRS-MS05 speaker system is described in detail in the Tyros5 Owner's Manual on pages 106/107. If necessary, you can download this manual here:
>>> Guets are not allowed to view links. In order to access the links, please Register or Login

The two 6.3 mm TS mono plugs are connected to the Tyros5's MAIN OUT jacks (red plug to R and white plug to L/L+R), the Cinch (RCA) plugs (red and white) to the right and left satellite speakers respectively. The 8-pin plug and the Cinch (RCA) plug on the other side of the combination cable go into the corresponding jacks (R and L) on the back of the subwoofer.

If you cannot hear anything when the TRS-MS05 is connected to the MAIN OUT jacks as described, please make sure that the "LINE OUT (MAIN)" parameter is NOT set to "OFF" under "Function > Utility > Config 2 > 1 Line Out / Screen Content" (because this will deactivate the LINE OUTs on the Tyros5). Instead, set it to "Headphone SW" (= default) or "ON" (= speakers are also on if headphones are connected).

By the way, the Tyros5 has special Master EQ and Master Compressor types for operation with the TRS-MS05 speaker system (Mixing Console > EQ / CMP).

Hope this helps!

Best regards,
Chris
● Everyone kept saying "That won't work!" - Then someone came along who didn't know that, and - just did it.
● Never put the Manual too far away: There's more in it than you think! ;-)
