Is there any Genos2 news from NAMM ?

News for Genos2 might include a firmware upgrade (maybe with new features), new expansion and style packs etc. I am sure many of us are interested in case anyone is at NAMM from today through Sunday.

iirc, Yamaha rarely announce firmware/software updates at NAMM. Also, iirc, they have at MusikMesse, so you may need to wait a bit

I do find it a little odd that there are no goodies since Genos 2 arrived.
Just old fashioned packs and overseas additions.
I am still waiting for the add on coffee machine dispenser and a Camel Pack. I don't care even if it is Deep Purple. You never know, Pink Piggies may fly!!!!.

It is all a bit light hearted, which in some cases is not a bad thing, however Yamaha have never really announced anything at MAMM before, so why are we surprised. Yamamah broke tradition a little with Genos 1 when the brought out V2 / Superior pack, however don't expect the earth, just enjoy what G2 has to offer.
