Hi there, so I'd like some information and of course I'd like some really serious information so I have a medeli AKX 10 keyboard and hearing about what Yamaha did to the company I thought I'd not take a risk and sell it and I found a tyros for black edition where I live in is Turkey and I found it for let's say 33,000 Turkish lira, which is about something around US$937 is it worth selling my keyboard for the black addition Tyros for or should I go for the PSRSX 920 and what are my options for these two keyboards which one would you go for? I have also some questions so let's say I have an expansion pack and I've loaded this expansion pack with the UVI file fair enough what if I want to load another expansion pack that also has the same file how many expansion packs can this keyboard handle and what kind of hard drive should I be looking for? Do I need what kind of hard drive am I gonna be buying for this? If I wanna buy it should I go for a one terabyte hard drive and also another question that I would love to someone for me to explain it a couple I think should I be adding anything else to the Tyros for black edition do I really need the speakers because I have Mackie speakers and what other options should I be considering and also the seller who is selling this keyboard has no idea how to use it. He's a beginner why do people like this going by expensive keyboard when they don't even know how to use it even if it's secondhand why do they buy it now? He wants the PSr a300 can you imagine and so when I asked him, would you like to trade in my keyboard for his? He wasn't very keen on buying my keyboard because he wanted something simple. Why do people have to buy the most expensive keyboard when they don't even know how to play the keyboard and they think that buying the most expensive is the best thing to do but anyway, just like to know if buying the tyros for is the right thing and it's a black addition so should I just pounce on this opportunity or should I get something better thank you

The Tyros 4 came out in 2010. It is a good keyboard, but is now pretty outdated. I would go for a more recent model. Keep in mind that the smaller PSR models do not have aftertouch. If possible I would try playing the keyboards before buying.

Genos, Tyros 5, PSR S975, PSR 2100
and PSR-47.
Former keyboards: PSR-S970.

I still have a Tyros 4 and no way would I ever part with it ..Yes it is an old model but the only thing that can actually wear out is switches and the keyboard rubbers which are easy to fit and not pricey at all. It still has features that even the newer keyboards don't have and I sold my almost new SX900 to buy my Tyros ...Some say it was the best 61 key keyboard that Yamaha ever made ..in fact take a look at this video which compares the T4 with the much more expensive Genos 2!!

I think whether a Tyros4 makes sense depends a lot on the type of music you want to make.

Erim writes that he lives in Turkey. More modern models can load international expansion packs that are not available for the Tyros4, e.g. for Turkish music. As far as I know, YEM can't be used on Tyros4. This means that no expansion packs that are common today can be loaded!

Also, more modern models have more modern voices and styles for music that is not already 50 years old or older. For example, I can easily make my SX720 from 2024 sound the same as my S900 from 2008. But the other way around, to play more modern music, it is much more difficult, if not impossible.
