Is there a way to send a separate click track (metronome) out from the PSR-SX900 while performing with a midi file or style?

Other than Hard panning everything to the Left, and hard panning the a drum click track to the right? Unfortunately that's all I can think of; and that only works if you were planning to go out in mono.

I guess you could disable the sound of the metronome and just leave the flashing LED as your 'click'?

Hi,

I'm only speculating, but if the internal metronome uses a Part from the SX900's tone generator to produce the clicks, you could try sending that Part to the Sub (Aux) 1/2 outputs. If it doesn't, a click pattern would probably have to be programmed as a separate part into your files or styles first.

As an alternative, you can easily have the SX900 output a MIDI Clock signal, which other MIDI devices can synchronize to. If you happen to have something like a cheap old drum machine with MIDI laying around, you can program a simple click pattern on it, and have it follow the tempo of the SX900.

There are also units like the Boss DB-90, which is a dedicated metronome with MIDI input. It is certainly not a cheap option, though.
