Advice requested on smaller than Genos 2 but "compatible" keyboard

Hi,
I have and love my Genos 2 but it too big to take with me.
I see that the PSR SX920 has fewer registration buttons, but even that is still fairly heavy. I don't know if it will use  the Genos 2 registrations even if they have common styles & voices.
If not then I had just as well go for something a lot smaller.
Any thoughts or ideas please....

Hello Andy,
 The E Series are much smaller and lighter keyboards but having Genos 2 I don't think you would be happy with one. Worth trying to find somewhere you can try one.

I don't think you would be happy with any other keyboard if you have a Genos 2. Try to find some help to load and unload your equipment.

Just as a heads up, the sx920 isn't even quite a Genos 1, there is nothing else out there like the Genos 2 atm. But if you're ok with using a slightly stripped down Genos 1, then yeah the PSRsx920 is it.

If you want something even smaller, the PSRsx600 is even smaller (but not touchscreen and definitely another couple of steps down from the sx920). The Roland GoKeys3/5 are quite light, as are the Casio CTs400/500; but while the Gokeys sound quite good, you may or may not be able to deal with the really shallow black keys, and the awkward arranger interface. The CTS400/500 have quite good sounding piano, and decent drums and synth, but everything else is a far cry from Yamaha (strings, guitars, electric guitars, etc)

I have a Casio CTS400, which is an amazing little keyboard for the price, but I want something that might play my Genos registrations. Sadly the G2 is just too heavy and too big. Thank you for the ideas so far. I am going to have to look deeper at the SX920 and whether I will be able to see over the top of it when I am in my wheelchair.

Hello Andy! Actually, the Genos is just a couple of kilograms heavyer than the PSRs, but it is longer. I have the case Yamaha made for Genos1, and it has wheels. That helps a lot when transporting it. I have a dream of a light keyboard as well, so I purchased the Casio CT-400. A very nice little keyboard, but not a Yamaha in any way. As for seeing the screen from a difficult angle, there are stands that you can tilt, so that the keyboard is angled up and towards you. Hope you find a solution that fits your needs.
