Hello,

I recently read about this software and it looks really nice.
For me that love to create music but cannot sing, I think this software will help me out a lot when creating covers.
Has anyone on the forum tried it?

Here are a couple of songs made with the software

Hello!

This looks fascinating!!  I downloaded the trial and will try it later tonight. The free edition should show me how it works. Even the Pro edition is $89.  Not that expensive like some other voice generating software I have tried. Years ago Yamaha introduced Vocaloid. It was lovely and had a very limited trial. The full version was extremely expensive!

There are a few voices in some of the packs for Genos2 that sound WAY too human.  It's almost disturbing with a little creepiness when these voices pierce thru the mix. To be able to make similar voices say what you want them to say could be awesome.  I imagine newer technology has really improved upon these "talkies"!!!  -charley

It would be great to hear someone actually using the software and not a prefabricated demo ..they might be a lot different especially if your own voice is a bit croaky or out of pitch!   Interesting to compare this software against the range of Helicon Vocal Processors and of course Yamaha's own VH2 built into the keyboard.  I am assuming of course that this new Vocal Synth software can be used LIVE whilst playing the keyboard ??

Let us know what you think about it after you tried it out. Yes, $89 for the pro version are not bad for what you can do with this software, but remember that you need to buy the soundbanks (voices) separately.

BTW. I just heard a new song made with a soundbank called Ninezero. It really sounds increadible and I cannot belive how long we come with voice generating software. Just take a listen to this. It really blows my mind. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=myaGS_OyhGc

Other than the vocals sounding like they have slight distortion applied, that is eerily close to the actual thing. Almost too close!
