Hello Everyone:
I am trying to lower the volume of the Style section of the keyboard. I came from a PSR3000 and this being a new unit, I  cannot find my problem in the Operating Manual. I appreciate any help that I can get. Thanks all a million. Vito from NYC

Hello,

Press the Mixer button. Make sure top tab called "Panel" is selected. Then select the "Pan/Volume" tab at lower left. Then adjust the volume in the "Style" column. Page 80 of the User manual shows basic procedures for the Mixer section.

K32, thanks so much I see it now in the manual. The problem now is that I cannot save. I guess I have to thinker with it more. There is a lot to learn.  Thanks for being so quick.   Vito

After you make changes on style, then you need to save the complete style: open Style Creator and tap Save icon on the top of the display.

And yes, you definitely need to spend some time by reading Owner's & Reference Manual -so that you become familiar with basic operations.

Hi Vito,

Alternatively, you can also save such settings in a registration. But registrations are a topic in themselves...

Hi Vito,

Please note that the global style volume (Mixer > Panel 1 page > Style) cannot be saved directly in a style, but only in registrations.

Conversely, you can save the changes you make to a style in the Mixer (e.g. volumes of the individual style parts in "Mixer > Style page") directly in registrations, i.e. you do not necessarily have to save these changes as a user style in the Style Creator.

P.S.
Since you are new to the SX700, you may not have all the manuals yet. If you need them, you can download them here:

● Everyone kept saying "That won't work!" - Then someone came along who didn't know that, and - just did it.
● Never put the Manual too far away: There's more in it than you think! ;-)
