SysEx, Intro, Variation, Break, ...

Hello,

I am setting up some sysex messages on my Novation SL MK II to control a PSR A5000.
I am using 8 buttons on the controllers for the following:

INTRO 2      43 7E 00 01 7F
INTRO 3      43 7E 00 02 7F
VAR 1      43 7E 00 08 7F
VAR 2      43 7E 00 09 7F
VAR 3      43 7E 00 0A 7F
VAR 4      43 7E 00 0B 7F
BREAK      43 7E 00 18 7F
ENDING 1   43 7E 00 20 7F

I noticed that when I click on VAR 1 on the PSR A5000, there is a Fill and then the Variation
however, when I click on VAR 1 on the controller that sends sysex 43 7E 00 08 7F the fill isn't activated on the PSR, but only the variation part.

It seems as if I need to send a fill 2 sysex message first before the var 2 sysex but the novation button can only send a limited sysex message

is there another way or another sysex message I should use to trigger a fill in and then variation?
