Transcribe music from MIDI files imported directly into the program?

Hello musical friends.
After good advice from you I have downloaded and tried to use MiseScore for transcribing my songs to sheet music.
The program is excellent, but unfortunately my very poor eyesight makes this impossible for me. So my nect question here is: Is there a program where you just can import a MIDI file, click on a button, and -VOIL! - out comes the sheet music?

I play all songs from memory, my own compositions are in my heas, but if I want someone else to play them, they will want the sheet music.

I suspect this demand of mine is too much, but who knows.
I think I need an AI!!!

Toril S.  I use MuseScore most days...great free program.
You need to decide which track from a midi that you want to print.
MuseScore has the option to make the page notes as large as you wish.
As you increase note size it will auto add another page to be able to print.
Top bar select FORMAT to increase note sizes.
Top bar select TOOLS to transpose.

PS. I use MuseScore v3

As you already know from another topic, I use MuseScore4, Toril.

You can also create "Large Noteheads" with "Note Names" inside the noteheads, similar to Big Note EZ Play sheet music, using MuseScore. :)

That message wasn't clear to me in the topic you started, but the answer is yes, Toril. :)

You should really read the online manual, which is very good and very extensive. :)

Thanks Roger. I find no options in the program to do it, so I will try to get help from someone here to see what I am overlooking😀

Toril,

Not sure if this is the answer you are looking for: I take a MIDI file saved from my SX900 and copy it onto a USB stick. On my Mac I simply drag and drop the MIDI file onto the Musescore application icon, and it opens up as sheet music in Musescore. I am interested in learning what Graham said earlier where you can specify which track from the MIDI file to print. I have to watch some tutorials to see how to do that.

This is explained in the Online Manual.

Left click on the File pulldown menu...left click on Open...navigate to your midi file and left click on it and it will open as a music sheet in MuseScore4.

Hi Toril

I hope you do not mind me chipping in.  All the various programs that have been mentioned are very good, HOWEVER they are all quite complex in what they can do, which means there are lots of pull down menu's to navigate. This means there is a big learning curve.

I assume what you want is a simple lead sheet of your compositions. A simple lead sheet is generally only 1: the Melody & 2: the Chords -  not ALL of the 16 channels that your MIDI file has recorded.  To make it much easier for you consider the 2 options below.

1:  Rerecord your Midi file with just the L/H and RH channels set to record (preferably on 1 voice on the RH.)  You can start from scratch or rerecord the song you have already recorded.

2:  If you have an Ipad the Apps are much simpler as they do not use the pulldown menu's. On one that I tried you only switch off the unwanted channels by tapping a "EYE" icon. Quite a few are free.
