Hello all, not sure if this is the correct group, but has anyone been able to successfully transmit CC 80/81 & 82 (S-ART) messages to the Genos2 via an external MIDI controller and actually hear the articulation ?

I am able to use loads of other CCs (ie start/stop/intros etc / part volumes, style volumes) but cannot find a way to trigger one of the S-ART controls via external MIDI.

Cubase records the CC event as well, my External MIDI controller is customized to send CC 80/81/82 from the pads on the controller but the G2 doesnt play it back.

Even MIDIView receives the CC messages but it will not play it back on the keyboard. Only way is to actually press the SA buttons themselves on the G2 itself !

I am using an M-Audio Hammer 88 Pro in the studio attached to the G2 MIDI A input using the DIN connection.  Very odd how this CC doesnt execute from external controller, yet it receives the CC. All other CCs are fine from what I've used so far.

Cheers all.

Found the solution.

Had to go into the EXT controller settings in the MIDI panel and assign the SA CCs individually.
