Does anyone know if the music rest brackets for the Genos2 and original Genos are identical?

I don't have G1 anymore to confirm it 100%, but to me music rest and speaker brackets looks to be similiar on both G1 and G2.

Yes, they seem 100% identical to me.

Yes they are the same.... In fact I didn't use the G2 ones, I'm still using the G1 brackets and music rest on the G2. :)

Thanks, everyone. That's a relief.

I never used the music rest on my G1, and didn't remember that the brackets existed. My G2 arrived with the brackets packaged in with the power cord, and at a quick look I thought they were European power adapters.

So I didn't include them in the box when I shipped the G1 to the eBay auction winner. In fact, I threw them away because I knew I was never going to be taking my G2 to Europe.

Then the buyer messaged me and asked where the brackets were, and the 25 watt (i.e. dim) lightbulb went on over my head. Fortunately, the trash had not yet been picked up and I was able to fish the brackets out of the trash and send them to the buyer.

The brackets from the G1 may be somewhere around the house, but it would take a major campaign to find them. And since I don't use the music rest, there's no need to put out the effort.

Perhaps, in around six years, I will buy a G3 and send the brackets that come with it to the buyer of my G2.
