Greetings PSR Tutorial Forum!

Let's start with a little history.  Started playing keyboards in 1969 taking lessons from a kind woman who played organ for the silent movies!  She married the man who ran the lights in the theater.  Their story should be a movie.  I studied classical organ in 1973 a with an Italian professor of music.  I can still hear him humming along in my head.

I got inspired by Rick Wakeman and Keith Emerson (a lot of us did).  I remember looking down from the upper level of a stadium on Rick's keyboard rig.  He came walking out to check out his gear.  The coolest thing ever.  Keith came to our town with ELO a little later when he had the grand piano hooked on the lift and he spun around upside down playing like only Keith did.

I joined a few of my friends and started a progressive rock band called Ion (you won't find us on apple music) and we played for a couple of years until I transferred out to college.  The IT degree came by 1983.

Family, work, children and grandchildren dominated the picture since then.  Now I can afford the gear that I could never get in the past, and I had been dreaming of a Genos for years.  I pulled the trigger last week, and here I am!

I want to start out by thanking the everyone on this forum.  I had been browsing the content since I got a SX900.  I honor and respect everyone here.  You have helped me already.  I hope to return the favor.

Kind regards,

Mike aka mdlrocket

PS.  I loved making model rockets when I was a kid.  We even shot slot cars out of my dad's garage.  We would hook a rocket engine on them and ignite with a model train transformer.  Those were the days!

Thank you Rodger!

I was looking in the forum store, but I could not find items related to Genos2.  I understand this because it is new, but are there items that you recommend?

Kind regards,

Mike

Hello, Mike.

Congrats to have a yamaha arranger.
You can watch my YouTube videos - I have a lot of songs, mostly recorded with my own custom styles.
A lot of people like to watch the videos, learning how to use and how to play an arranger keyboard.

My YT channel is below my signature.
