Hi.  :)

I've searched through the manuals, but could not find anything about this matter.
G2 is equipped with Bluetooth, so I thought that it maybe would be possible to connect headphones with Bluetooth to G2 as well.
G2 will hopefully arrive here tomorrow, so I''probably find out then, but I'm a bit corious about if it's possible.
Anyone that tried or know?

Hello Gunnar

Not possible, I was hoping for this on my G2 as well. Bluetooth support on the G2 only allows audio in, not audio out.

Cheers

Thanks a lot for the clarification Andy.
Guess Yamaha should put that option to our wishlists then...  would be convient. 8)

If Bluetooth audio out were a feature, you might well have come across latency issues when playing wearing headphones. Playing with a fraction of a second delay between pressing the key and hearing the note can be fun!   ;D

Of course, we organists who play pipe organs wouldn't bat an eyelid, as the delay on some pipe organs is massive! :)
It's not what you play, it's not how you play. It's the fact that you're playing that counts.

Hello all,

I recently purchased a set of bluetooth headphones from Yamaha.

They are wireless and can be used with any keyboard that has a headphone jack.
it also can pair with your computer at the same time allowing you to listen to an MP3 and play along with it on your Genos or whatever.

They are  awesome to say the least.

The model number is YH-WL500 and is worth your while to Google these things

You will not be disappointed..... There is NO latency issue whatsoever, guaranteed

I bought mine about three weeks ago at piano heritage in Montreal for 469.00 Canadian.

they are around 350.00 US

Regards

Ron

That's a good point...  But Bluetooth has developed a lot as well, but G2 has not the latest version as far as I can see. (5.0)
Maybe when successor arrives, who knows.  ;D

Hi Gunnar, i think that the headphone of Yamaha YH-WL500 is perfect for you; you've just to use the cable of the transmeeter in the phone jack of the Genos 2 and your headphone will be connected with his transmeeter; you can always use the bluetooth of the genos 2 to connect with your tablette, phone or computer and play along; you'll have the sound in your headphone wiresslly without latency! Just have a look at the manuel of this headphone; all the best Patrick

Hope I am not hijacking tread, but it's in regard to Bluetooth.
I wonder if it can send/receive MIDI sy*** as well, so we can use it without BT Adaptor?
Ability to speak doesn't make you intelligent! 🤷🍻
