Hi everyone. I reworked a factory style Discohands to be more enhanced. I wanted to share it and see what you think about it. Anyone who has a tyros 5 61/76 genos genos 2 ax900 will work best. For tyros 4 chord 2 channel may need revocing but the intro 3 is the fun part. https://drive.google.com/file/d/11ysDt1KXEGXnz8P3JslGhZh7EjSRwCrZhttps://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1-0Suz69WQrRh48DC38_oRkoATf5sSahO

Any once you try it and test it tell me how you feel about it.🤩

Hello ! I am very interested in editing and revoicing styles. For me it would be a little learning to compare the original style with the "new" you created, so my question is what keyboard model you took the original style from. Of course you will get some comments from me later when I have listen and play with both styles. By the way I can say that I have compared a few styles from the Genos2 on my "old" Genos with the styles onboard there, and the result so far is very positive. Maybe soo good that I for the moment will wait, or maybe not at all, think it is worth the money for an upgrade to Genos2. Of course there are another possibilities and functions on the new one, but several of them I don't think of using for the moment.

Now maybe this Genos issues are in wrong board. Its up to the moderators to move it if they find it so.

Best regards

tyros 5 was the original. You can also download it from the psr tutorial site. The part where you can download styles from existing arranger models. Here's the link just click on entertainer and it will download a zip file extract the styles then use discohands to compare https://psrtutorial.com/sty/yamaha/Tyros5/tyros_5.html

I created a folder containing both styles to compare in the folder I made some minor adjustments to the enhanced one. Here's the link. https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1GfV_pbRA35EaYPgfgx8vdsAl9ldTQ05R

And when you test them the intro c will be mind blowing. Let me know as soon as you test it out and compare it to the original included in the folder then see how well I did I put quite a bit of work in it https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1GfV_pbRA35EaYPgfgx8vdsAl9ldTQ05R

Thanks for your support. Maybe it will take a couple of days before I get time to play the keyboards.
It's a lot of things I have to do before christmas...

Hi everyone. I'm just following up on the styles. For the ones who tried it out. I'm curious did you like the sound. Did you hear the shoo baa do 😁

Hello, Now I have listen to your remastered file. Great job ! What impressed me most ( personal opinion ) was the guitar accompaniement when you choose button C for the style. Absolutely great ! And of course the ooohs and aaahs in the intro.
For the moment I only have tested the style on my Tyros 5-76 but I will follow it up on my Genos later and maybe I will discover more sounds if I play more songs. Another question, what program did you use when remastering, or do you use the keyboard ?

Have a Merry Christmas

first of all glad you enjoyed it. And I used MixMaster to make the edits and midi commands. And CASM editor to add a third midi track for minor7th test all three chords in the intro too major minor and minor 7th. And also glad to see it works in the t5 too on my keyboard I used the drum setup in style creator and used the kick from drum machine kit with house kit also added the white noise parts too. Still wish you tons of fun with it.

Hi again: Back on this exiting topic I did a few edits in the lsb for the brass so instead of PopHorns1 it'll be Megavoice SectionHorns1 I haven't tested it on the genos 2 but it should work fine. Here's the edited version for genos 2 the ones that bought the new Genos 2 here is the style. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1xYJUqQ86LSsrdVZDKY9jfJH_ABLaMH7n/view?usp=drivesdk
