How To Dim The Subdisplay

Even the dimmest setting on the subdisplay of the Genos2 is too bright for me. Here's how I fixed it:

I ordered a window film sampler from greenfilmusa.com. (The sampler is free, but I paid them five dollars because I knew I wasn't going to be ordering anything else from them.)

The film is soft and flexible and adheres via static electricity. I chose the darkest one and cut a 6.5" x 1.5" piece of it. Then I laid it down on the subdisplay, and my work was done.

Other than the subdisplay being dimmer, you would never know it was there. Problem solved!

I now did the same with my G2. Looks much nicer now.

Thank you Michael for this great idea.
