Wondering if anyone has this Bose.
I have the Bose pro L 16 and its sounds phenomenal with the Genos and covers a room of 200 very well
But I want a smaller system also.
I know the S1 Pro goes very loud, however the genos puts out so much low end when turned up with its bass drum, bass guitar, and key sounds. I will have a listen to it but would be surprised if the low end doesn't clip when kicked up.
Thanks

I have Genos 1.

I also own the Bose L1 Pro8 and Pro16.  I have owned and used Bose S1 x 2 for stereo.

The S1 does a nice job but I usually used it for crowds of 50 or less.

I didn't have any problems with clipping with any Bose system but then I played mostly for seniors.

For me, the goal is to keep growing/learning.

Hi Jayfield.

I have Bose L1 pro 32 (x2) and I have a Bose S1 pro+. I tried out on a job (for only 30 people) only to have one L1 pro 32 + one S1 Pro+ and It sounds simply great. Even though the S1 is much cheaper than L1 pro 32 the sound is clear and spreads nicely.

If you want a perfect small set-up with Bose, the solution is 2 x S1 pro+ AND the small subwoofer from the L1 pro 32 serie. That work perfectly together. There is an onboard possibility the couple them. The small Sub1 only have a weight of 16 kg and cost around 900 euro. I am so impressed of the small Sub1, it sounds great from 40 Hz and up, which is perfect for small events.

I also have the greater Su2 from Bose, which gå down to 37 hz and have the double in effect. Better for bigger events as the small sub not play very loud. But for small events op to 70-100 people the small setup would do fine. And is very easy to handle.

All the best
