If.....

.... along with those new fader and knob LEDs - better screens, new CHORD LOOPER buttons
.. and glorious new sounds...

...  They had actually also take the time and effort to.. update the firmware ... so we'd have gotten:

1 ) Editing facility for the CHORD LOOPER
2 ) Support for DAW control and MIDI 2.0 control with those lovely new encoders and fader LEDs...
3 ) ability to use and control all those bottom LED buttons via MIDI ... so everything becomes computer
controllable - !
4 ) proper 2-way support seamlessly with Cubase - even other DAWs -
5 ) piano roll MIDI editing

Then this beast might have a new market - imho - professional and hobby composers, songwriters and "producers" !

yeah..

... dream on I guess :(

According to the manual ... there is improvement with the Live Control knobs and sliders.  There will be NO jump when changing parameters with these controls.  The knobs adjust from the current value and the slider description states the value will catch up to the current value before any change is made.  So the knobs may be encoders (you will know if they go round and round) or both the knobs and sliders use improved firmware to make a smooth change.  This is definitely an improvement.  People have commented on the "jump" up or down when using these controls with the Genos 1

It's all down to the pilot :)

Another thing that i am interested in is when changing registrations do you get glitch jumps if you are not on the button in time or levelling up volumes so changes do not glitch.
On the Genos 1 you sometimes do not get smooth transitions.

Yes, you do. Listen to Peter changing from strings to guitar via a registration here:

Smooth or not transition depends on sound, volume, and Dsp combination. The more 2 registrations are different, the higher is the probability you have issues during transition. sustain, release, reverb, dsp part of the previous sound is replaced by the new parameters of the corresponding sound (R1,2,3,L) configured in the following registration.
