I maybe jumping the gun but this old pianoplayer is anxious to find out if there has been a change, an improvement perhaps, in the action and feel of the Genos 2 compared to the action of the Genos 1.

The specs for the G2 say that the keyboard is FSX, same as the G1.

Which specs do you wear then??? ;D ::)

Usually 2.5, sometimes 3.0 diopters.

Whichever ones I was wearing, they allowed me to clearly distinguish the letters FSX8)

Tyros 2/3/4/5 specs also say FSX (probably also the first Tyros), so either they are all the same or just "FSX" doesn't tell you enough.

The keyboard on my new G2 seems slightly stiffer than my G1. Maybe because the G1 keyboard is "broken in"...

That's also my experience.

I like the slightly stiffer action of the Genos2.

I noticed that, too, and wondered if it was just my hope. This makes it easier to control.

I would actually prefer lighter, but you get what you get...

Well, of course you know you can adjust the action and make it lighter. I have finally realized I can adjust the fixed parameter to make it more expressive for the piano so I'm happy.
