Mike Brotherton

Hi everyone introducing myself.  I am married, retired and living in East Sus***.  Originally from West Yorkshire worked in construction on major projects throughout the UK and Europe finally in London and on retiring moved to East Sus***.  Allways had an interest in organs and then keyboards and while in London joined the Orpington Organ and Keyboard club.  The Club which celebrates it 50th Aniversary this year has due to the Cost of Living crisis been forced to close with its last concert scheduled for this October.  Have been a member for 23 years. Owned a few keyboards in my time my latest being a Tyros 3 which I enjoy playing.  i live close to the East Sus*** Leisure Center who's owner is a keen organ enthuiast building up a collection of rare organs, pride of place is a Wurlitzer brought over from America and installed into the centers ballroom.  There are regular tea dances every week with Michael Woolridge as the resident organist with the occsaional Sunday concerts with well known organist such as Phil Kelsall, John Mann etc etc

● Everyone kept saying "That won't work!" - Then someone came along who didn't know that, and - just did it.
● Never put the Manual too far away: There's more in it than you think! ;-)
