Playlists use registrations. If your pedal setting is changing, it means your registration is doing so. You need to re-memorize your registration, telling it not to change your pedal setting (ensure the Pedal box is unchecked after pressing the Memory button).

To start with, I have had untold problems making my SX700 stay where I wanted.
From what I see you can't step up through styles as you can with registrations. The assignment allows you to step through the variations up or down. The only way you can step to get a different style is to put each style onto a different registration button.
Eg, English waltz on button 1, Dream Waltz on button 2 etc.

Note from experience with this kbd. Press a button and save. Keep doing this or it will revert to things you do not want.
