Multipads don't clear when switching from registration banks.

Hello.

How do it get my multipads to clear the previous selected pad when I switch registration banks.
It seems that they just keep playing and adding on as I go from bank to bank with different pad selection.

It does not make sense to me to add banks to do a pad clear as that timing to switch throws off the settings/timing of the song.

        Thanks          dom

That's the way it is. To Yamaha, this is a feature, not a bug.

You need to use a Padstopper to stop the pad, like this one https://1drv.ms/u/s!AsHi9Gh31gfOjPIKlHM1EZSQ_m9HFw

Hi Fred.

How would I use it?  Do I save it in a bank and then use that bank to stop the pads then move on to the next bank where I would have saved the next style? If so this is kind of a cumbersome way of doing things in my opinion. Kind of odd logic when it would be easier for Yamaha to simply do a Pad refresh on every registration bank switch.

It's no use asking why, Dom. "Why" questions are for Yamaha. We can tell you how.

In the registration where you want the pad to stop, you memorize Padstopper, and sync start it.

Thanks Fred.  The sync start will make it easier. I did not think of that.

   Enjoy the day.            dom
