Hello dear friends
I want to store the transpose on a OTS button of a style
and therefore I push "MEMORY"
then check the Transpose option and then push one of the OTS buttons but
when I recall it pushing the OTS button
it does NOT change the Traspose (only the Voice)
Your hepl please :)
Sorry for my English ,,hopefully I was understood :)

You can't store transpose in OTS. You need to use a registration for that.

Hi dupakos,

Significantly fewer parameters can be stored in OTS than in registrations. Split points or fingering, for example, can also only be saved in registrations.

The "Parameter Chart" in the Genos Data List shows exactly which parameter is/can be saved where. If you don't have the Data List PDF yet, you can download it here:
>>> https://uk.yamaha.com/en/products/musical_instruments/keyboards/arranger_workstations/genos/downloads.html

Hope this helps!

Best regards,
Chris

Looking at your last couple of posts, you seem to not understand OTS.
OTS is a lead voice that can be stored in a style, so it gets selected when you select a style - a one touch setting,  it does nothing else. No other parameters can be stored in OTS. That is what registrations are for.

I was confused by the "transpose" option that appears as soon as you press "memory"
Thanks anyway

Yes, you are confused.

The "transpose" option, and the other "options" that appear on the screen apply only to registrations. They don't apply to OTS.

From all the posts I've seen from you, you would be far better off to use only registrations. Forget about OTS. Registrations are much more powerful.

I guess this is a consequence of Yamaha giving the Memory button double duty, for both registrations and OTS. It can't limit the options presented because it doesn't know if you are going to press a registration button or an OTS button next. I can see though how it's a bit misleading to not, at least, pop up some message after you pick an OTS along the lines 'You can't save all the selected options into an OTS slot".

Fair point.

You can go into the Mixing Console for R-1 and R-2 Voices and change the Octave, then save the OTS.
