Hi :

I would like to know if there are ( high end ) Arranger keyboards available with built-in audio sampling tools ?

What about the Genos' audio sampling features ? Available ? Plse advise. Thanks !

Your reaction would be highly appreciated.
Thanks in advance, JH

Hello Jeff,
I will only mention the possibilities of Genos not knowing the other arrangers.
So with audio samples or even complete audio tunes, you can make audio pads, play on accapellas and even play audio tunes that you can associate with midi tunes.
On the other hand, he does not "manufacture" the samples himself.

hi Jeff,
I'm not sure what you mean when you say "audio sampling tools"... that is, what exactly you would like to do.
Strictly speaking, one can't create audio sample on any arranger keyboard. Ok, we can record a voice from keyboard, which we then can use as a sample (for whatever purpose) -but that's probably not what you mean.

What we usually mean (related to arranger keyboard) is, can we import audio samples directly into keyboard to create new voices? If that's what you mean, then the answer is: we can't do that on Yamaha keyboards (YEM is needed for that). It can be done one Korg keyboards, though.

Thanks Guys :

Now I am convinced I made the right decision ( for myself ) to order a ( small ) synth I will receive tomorrow. Thank you all for your feedback ! :D
I can make samples ( WAV /16 bits ), import commercial samples, convert them to 16 bits and edit them all.
A nice addition to my Tyros4, in my perception.

It is my intention to buy a new high end arranger within 2-3 years from now.
Not in 2023 nor in 2024.
My Tyros4 is still like new and offers me a lot of fun and ... I need to save money a couple of years now. ;)  :)

Bye for now.
Best wishes, JH
