CHARLIE CHAU

HI EVERYONE,

I HAVE THE PSR SX900. I RECORDED THE MIDI FILE WHILE PLAYING THE PIANO SOUND. WITH THAT MIDI FILE, I WOULD LIKE TO HAVE THE WAV OR PM3 AUDIO FILE IN FLUTE SOUND. CAN I DO IT AND HOW, PLEASE.

THANKS

mikf

I'm afraid it's still not clear what you want to do.
Do you want to add a real flute to your midi and record as an audio?
Do you want to replace the piano sound with a flute voice from the keyboard?
Do you want to add another track using a keyboard flute sound from the keyboard?
All are easily possible but we have to know which, or if it is something else entirely.
I realize you may have a language problem. But please try to describe what you are trying to do as precisely as you can. Then we can help.

Best I can gather -- The MIDI file selects the piano voice and plays the MIDI song using the piano voice. Charlie would like flute. One fix is to edit the MIDI file and select the flute voice instead.

Maybe voice set-up wasn't saved to the MIDI file initially?

All the best -- pj

P.S. Charlie, please use both lower and upper case characters. Using all upper case means that you are shouting.

He also mentions wav and MP3, so its not clear at all. H should also say which keyboard he has.

Seems to me there are two simple steps:
1. Edit the midi to change the voice to a flute.
2. Record an audio file while playing the midi.

Cheers,

Agreed Fred, if that is indeed what he wants to do. But if it is, that seems so simple and obvious you would think he would have figured it out himself.
