Hello friends
is it possible to save the Mixer settings to an OTS
and NOT to a reg bank ?
No matter how hard I tried, I couldn't do it  :-[
Thanks

Hi dupakos,

To memorize the current panel settings (including the Mixer settings of the keyboard parts) to an OTS button:

- Press MEMORY button
- Press the desired OTS button to memorize the settings
- Call up the Style Selection display
- Save the Style (in the User drive or to a USB stick)

Note that not all parameters that can be saved in registrations are saved in OTS. For details, please refer to the "Parameter Chart" in the Genos Data List.

By the way, the checkboxes in the Memory dialog only apply to Registrations, not when memorizing OTS.

Hope this helps!

Best regards,
Chris

Hi dupakos,

To save the Mixer settings of the Style parts you have to re-save the Style in Style Creator. This has nothing to do with OTS. You cannot change the Mixer settings of the Style parts by OTS (but only by Registrations).

I ll try to explain with my poor english what i want to do
hopefully I ll be understood :) so
From the playlist I choose the song i want to play
it refers to a registration memory ,,very well
I have the drums muted for the beginning
now at some time I want to unmute the drums  with only a button push
I do not want to use another registration for this reason
because at that moment I see the text of the song on screen (and cannot remember what reg to push)
and want not to use the "style track mute B" option either (takes too many time from me)
now could I assign to a button to unmute the drums ?!
Thanks

Call up your "Lyric/Text" screen and then press the "Channel ON/OFF" button

You can then turn Off the drums style part (RHY2) of the style and still see the "Lyric/Text" screen.

Start your song and begin the drums when you need them to come in to join the mix. At a later time press the "Lyric/Text" button and the FULL screen will come back.

I use this technique to start the bass part in this song "Burnin' Love".

One small issue is that Genos doesn't have dedicated 'Lyric' or 'Channel' buttons

You can however assign any of the A-F buttons to those functions, if you're not using them for anything else.
