Been away from this forum for couple years having sold my Tyros 5 back then. Now however, prosperity reigns supreme and have just ordered a Genos to arrive in a couple days. I look forward to once again receiving and contributing as best a Newbie can to this great forum. THX

Welcome back, Rick. Things are a little slow around here lately, so it sometimes takes a while to respond to posts. Enjoy your new Genos, it's a great arranger keyboard. Btw, no word yet on a Genos successor from Yammie. The question is whether to wait until the Genos successor arrives, but no telling when that might be. Personally, I think it will be sometime in 2024 or possibly at NAMM 2023 on April 13-15 at the Anaheim Convention Center in So. California. If you feel you want the current Genos now, more power to you. If and when the Genos successor is announced by Yamaha and arrives in stores, you should be able to upgrade for minimal cost if you decide to exchange your Genos for the Genos2. It's all good. Enjoy what you play.

Thx, It's hard to fathom just HOW much better the Genos2 could be to the present Genos. If the Genos arriving soon to me is anything remotely like the Tyros 5 I once owned, then I'm on cloud nine !!!
