Style for Tu Vuo Fa L'American & Papa Americano

Hello and Happy New Year to all!

  This may be a very obvious style for some, but I am having trouble finding the sytle to this song which is on Utube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J0ogqBcK9ow.   I am  using FOXTROT with a temp of 220 and while sounding ok as I progress from variation A-D, I would like to get it sounding like it is in this video.

In addition if I may I am also looking for this style as well >> PAPA Americano dance version.

   Took me a long time to fine the clarinet sound but Clarinet-10tt works really well in my opinion btw.

Dom, you will likely have to mute some of the sounds in the style file in order to achieve your goal, and also use registrations to switch to the uptempo, rock segment of the song.

Gary, thank you for your suggestion.  Did what you suggested and I am using Tempo of 193 across all variations and comes really close to what I want.  It is fun also playing it in 220 tempo.  So one down and one  more to go.

I now am looking for the second Dance style which for some reason while it should be easy to to find I still can not find it. 

I suspect that if I learn how to use "Style Creator" these type of challenges may get greatly reduced?  Well that is on my wish list but for now learning and exploiting the more simpler things on the keyboard is my current task and making good progress I think with manipulation rather than creation.

Dance Swing Tempo 125.
The German site has it for sale I think.

Thanks Mike. Just seeing your response today.  Are you saying "Dance Swing" as the style.. My SX700 does not have SWING under the Dance category and out of all the sytles I have on my usb(s) I do not find the name.  Lots of SWINGs but have not hit one yet that sounds good for it? Will keep searching.

Hi.

I would like to share my findings on the dance version of PAPA Americano. Took some time to hunt this one down but got something really close to what I want and what I posted in the second link above.  The style is called "ItaloDance" .It can be found in the free Expansion Pack from Yamaha called "Greetings from Italy" Italy V2_S975_S775.  It's the only style for this there with the World icon. Use INTRO2 with Variation D and Ending 2. As for tempo you can use what ever you feel comfortable with.

  PS: still looking for that "Dance Swing" style mentioned above by Mike. I don't have one with that name. If anyone can share that style I will be very grateful.
