I wish to have your advice. I am currently playing Dgx670 with keyboard mode (not piano) for fun at my apartment, only using headphone connecting directly to the audio output of the keyboard (dgx670) without any mixer / amplifier. If I switch to sx600 or sx700 and also use the same headphone connecting way, can I obtain better sounds of Styles to the same headphone ? Thank you.

Tranvin. I also own DGX670.  I also always play via headphones...my preference.
First priority for myself is quality of the Key-Bed. If you like the DGX you will be disappointed with the SX models Key-Beds.
In my 50 years playing keyboards I'm very happy with the very good voice/style quality of the DGX.
All of use hear differently...Sound is a personable thing.
You can download the SX600 styles and play them direct from USB Stick on your DGX.

Hope this helps.

I doubt you would hear much difference in the style sounds. Much of the quality of the styles comes from DSP. The DGX has 1 DSP available for the styles, it's the same with SX600 / 700.

DerekA. Yes, good point, apart from yourself and me and a few others very few owners do any Style or Voice editing.
A little time learning a boards OS is a learning curve but well worth while to get ones keyboard sounding at its best.

Why do forum members ask for advice then they don't acknowledge the reply's when they are given ?.
