ICONS - can I get additional Regist Bank name Icons

   When saving a Bank on my SX700 I have 4 pages of ICONs to choose from which I guess are ok. However I have seen some customized ones that others have used and wondering how do I get additional ones, can create/customize my own and is it a simple process worth the effort?

Hello Ckobu/Casper, that was fast.  I did watch the video(good video) but with the captions it made it very difficult to clearly understand.  Maybe it's only me as I had to keep on searching for answers.  As it turned out I found a post on the internet which led me right back to this forum Dec 01,2017 with David and OVEROVER which explained in minutes what I think your video was about.  I took a Hey Jude-c.T5644.rgt and renamed it to Hey Jude-c.S900.rgt and other codes and it worked/played fine with the new ICON.

However, it does not address my question as I do not want to change existing. I would to add to what I already have defaulted on the keyboard.  They must be hidden. The icons must be there since they do recognize the new code/names when I rename the old files.  Would be smart to just be able to populate all those ICONS on the keyboard, pull up the full list of icons for any new file creation, scroll pages of them and make my selection when I create new styles,rgts, etc.

Hi Dom,

Unfortunately, there is no way to expand the number of icons that can be selected directly on the keyboard (under "File > Rename > Icon") or to add your own (e.g. self-created) icons. There are many additional icons stored in the keyboards (e.g. PSR-SX models, Genos), but unfortunately they cannot be selected directly on the keyboard.

The only possibility to use other icons than those offered in the keyboard is to find out the desired icon ID and to change it in the relevant file name on the computer.

Chris, appreciate the info. Too bad I guess. We will have to live with this design for now and hope that some day Yamaha will address this with what I think is a simple software update.
