Mr. Gary

I have purchased and downloaded several MP3 backing tracks previously to my Genos with no problems.
However I have just downloaded another two and I cannot get the Genos to pick them up from the USB.
I've tried three separate USB's and all to no avail. I've checked them on my PC and they both play on all
Three USB's but will not transfer to Genos, I've tried all song A&B combinations on all drives but no luck.all advice gratefully accepted...

Audio files need to be a specific format for the keyboard to recognize them. Here are the specs from your manual:
wav (WAV format: 44.1 kHz sample rate, 16 bit resolution, stereo), .mp3 (MPEG-1 Audio Layer-3: 44.1/48.0 kHz sample rate, 64-320 kbps and variable bit rate, mono/stereo)

If your files aren't supported, just convert them with Audacity.

Cheers,
Fred

Hi Mr. Gary,

Do these MP3 files show up in the song file selection display? Otherwise, the file names may be too long or contain unsupported characters. Try renaming the files on your computer with a relatively short file name (made up of only letters and numbers). Of course, be sure to keep the .mp3 extension.

Chris
