Hello friends.
I have had som gigs this summer, after a long, boring corona isolation.
And I just had to say how satisfied I still am every time I set up my Bose L1 Compact.
Yes, I know that there is a new one, Bose Pro8, that is more powerful. But it is also heavyer, and a little bigger.
People who drive me to gigs have small cars, and the Bose fits snugly in thair trunk! And I still think the sound is fantastic!

Last year I also purchased a Bose S1 Pro. A small, but very powerful speaker. It has a rechargable battery, and can be placed in different posisions. Very handy. I even have a backpack for it that Bose have provided (had to pay for it though!! :) ) I sometimes
link the two speakers together, and the result is really good.

Just had to say how happy I am, and thankful to the forum friends who recommended the Bose :)

Sounds like you have all the PA that you need for 99.9 percent of the gigs.

Good luck,

I too followed Gary's advice and got the L1 Compact for my S975. My audiences have loved it, and my body loves the lighter equipment.

Hi, have you tried running in stereo, the compact one side and the S1 on the other?  The reason I ask is I have the L1 pro 8 and it is a great sound but I always feel that some of the strings and piano sounds are not as good in mono, I'm thinking of adding the S1 pro to create a stereo sound field.  My keyboard is a Psr-sx900.  Any thoughts welcome.
