Hello to all! Here is a new member!
Can somebody explain me, please, the next place
in the Owner's manual: p.74 Adjusting the volume balance between Song and Audio playback.
OK, the question is how can a recorded Song be used together with an Audio playback, what are the scenarios? And how in this case they can be synchro started?
Thank you a lot!

When you mean Audio
Would it be the Pen Drive or Aux in?

Thank you for the reply!
Not really sure what Pen Drive means. For Audio playback I use Aux in, or a Flash drive (if you mean Pen Drive by this).
..Just don't see what might be the occasions in real life to use both simultaneously.

Yes by Pen Drive I mean Flash Drive ( USB)

Firstly for the Aux In it controlled externally ( for the playback )
So to sync that perfect it's not possible on the keyboard.
But the advantage is you can record the audio to the USB Flash Drive.

Playing and Recording on the USB Flash Drive is not possible.
But I don't think there is a way to sync start.

If you want to record the USB Flash Drive and keyboard performance.
You'll require a audio interface ( external )

OK. AUX IN is perfectly understood, that it is not, what I have meant by my question.

Though, Playing from and Recording to a USB flash drive is possible - it is actually described on p. 74 of the Owner's Manual, and I did such recording many times.

What I ask is what is the use of the volume slider, which controls the volume balance between the Song (MIDI) and Audio? The slider appears on the main screen after pressing the BAL. button twice till BALANCE 2/2 page.

Yes you can play and record on the USB Player but not at the same time.

The slider is used to Cross-fade between the Midi song recording ( Left ) and the USB audio ( Right )
Center means both are playing in it's max default volume.

Oh, thank you! The Manual should have been more clear describing the use of this volume balance slider.
Now I see that it in no way can be used to playback the same composition, played by both - the recorded MIDI Song and the recorded AUDIO on a Flash drive (where I could probably record, say a vocal)?
But now I don't understand the use of it, and why should I want to crossfade between them.

Recording a vocal will go to the USB Flash Drive (When it's recording )

This keyboard is designed for both home users and those who do shows.
Say if you have a recording on the keyboard ( Midi) and you have a song in the USB Flash Drive which say someone requested you to play ( could be a difficult song )
You can just Cross-fade to the USB Flash Drive to make a seamless transition.
This is just one example.

I see. Probably might be so. But in my case, there is never such a case to play a show with an Audio from the Flash drive. Maybe during a break in the show! ...And I do both - home recording and playing live on the venues.
But thank you for explaining this feature.
Overall  I am very impressed with the possibilities of this keyboard. It came to me two years ago, adding to my main keyboard workstation Korg Triton. Together they are something!
