Hi, I'm from Midlands area in UK, In my later years and retired now, so have time,
As a lad I had lessons on a piano, but then as work and family took over , I didn't play at all, until 3 years ago, when visiting a music shop for some music scores for a grandson's birthday. Whilst in the store, I fell in love with the sound of a Kawai KDP110 Digital Piano and bought it after a lot of persuading from my better half. After 2 years of  learning to play again , I was encouraged to buy a Yamaha keyboard , by my cousin, (who I hadn't had contact with or seen for over 40 years} but had magically appeared through an Ancestry program, He had played keyboards throughout his life, doing gigs, in clubs, etc. So a Yamaha PSr EW 300  was bought,  about a year ago, loved playing it,  as well as all the technical bits involved.  I wanted to get more into it and have just in the last week or so, got the Yamaha SX 700, and now of course, I need to find out what all of those extra little buttons and knobs DO, and why and how they do, what they do, so need as much help as I can get.  Anyway after looking at  all the contributions and advice on this forum, I am sure it is the right one to join to learn even more.
Certainly wish everyone here, a Happy and Healthy New year, and thanks for letting me join.

Tori,

It's really good, about 80-100 audience, around 5 novice players have a chance monthly to play for 5-10 minutes, then a professional in the second half,

Brilliant
