Hello to all,
maybe it's my keyboard that's not working?
try the accord
G B C C# or
C C# B
it only serves as a battery.
Can you give me an answer?
Grazie.

Gios I think there may be a translation problem here. Does not make sense. And the chord notes do not make a known chord.

ok let me explain ...

if while I'm playing I accidentally make a mistake e
I simultaneously play the notes C C# B,
the displayed chord name is 'cancel' and stops playing everything but the drums. I think about making a video ....

Yes, that's what it is supposed to do.  That's a feature to let you create a break in the style.  Playing any 3 chromatically linked notes should do this.  You need to stop doing that and just play the right notes.  (Don't take that as being starkly please)

This is a normal function  on the keyboard.. you can use this when you play to make the music interesting.

All Yamahas have such a principle. Three consecutive tones activate the drum, and four consecutive tones activate the bass guitar and drum.

I changed my fingering mode to Multifinger, and now it doesn't work any more. Does it work only in fingered mode?

Hi Toril,

yes, that's right: When fingering mode is set to Multi Finger or Single Finger, these "Chord Cancel" functions (Drums only / Drum & Bass only) cannot be used.

P.S.
For "Drums only" just switch off ACMP and on again. (The full accompaniment will come back when you play the next chord with the left hand.) :)

Best regards,
Chris
● Everyone kept saying "That won't work!" - Then someone came along who didn't know that, and - just did it.
● Never put the Manual too far away: There's more in it than you think! ;-)

OK. I tinked my keybord is broken....
I suggest Yamaha to disable Lower Layer, if is enabled, in this funcion...
Grazie....

Playing three adjacent notes together in the LH it's not an "easy" mistake to make! I takes a little effort. That is why Yamaha chose this pattern. Surely you can just avoid doing this?

Toril S

If you do not want this to happen, set your keyboard in multi fingered mode😀
