Not going to happen....but.
My wife and I both have iPads, if we want an app, we look on the Apple store. The thing is most apps are not written by Apple but by someone else but have to be authorised by Apple. Nice if Yamaha did the same, I'm sure there are extra bits for our keyboard , things which would not be economical for Yamaha to make or perhaps things no one has thought of  that could be available . I know there are styles and the like to buy, but nothing else. There would have to be some form of security to stop pirating as Apple has but I'm sure it could be done.
Daydreaming again.
Oldden.

The Apps business is about scale. There are almost 4 billion smartphones in the population, and maybe 1 billion or more tablets, so even an app that is only attractive to 1 user in 10000 might be decent business. This is why it is not going to happen with Yamaha arrangers.

Hi
Good place for Styles

German/English--You can choose by flag at top of page
Styles are for a number of Yamaha keyboards. Korg P1, Ketron and Roland.

You can buy midi files and Genos styles here
Most of the demos are pan pipe for lead ,but ignore that and listen to the styles.
Some of these are good and you can manipulate them to your own liking

All the best
John :)
Genos, I7 computer 32 gig ram, Focusrite 6i6, Cubase controller, Focal Alpha Monitors, Yamaha DXR8 Speakers
Cubase 10, Sonarworks, Izotope.  Sampletank, Arturia and Korg software.  Now IK Mixbox

Yes I can echo that John. I have many D-O-O styles now, they are sold song specific but as you say you can make them suit other songs. I get into their Rolling Stones stuff, great rhythms to those.  8) :)
Cheers Terry

PS PSM (Pro style music) styles are good to, but you have to have their Essential 1 sounds package initially because a     lot of voices / rum kits are pulled in from there

To be honest, I was not expecting Yamaha to start to sell apps, no doubt they plus most companies have worked out if it would pay years ago. Way back they made programs such as Visual Arranger, which was very advanced for the time, doing things that Cubase  can't do even now, plus all the various variations of xgworks both in English and Japanese. Yamaha is a business and must make a profit or go out of business, so things change, it's always possible that one day they will stop making arrangers if it's not worth it.
