Custom Intro for a new Style

What is the easiest way to create a custom Intro for a song?  For example, Im using a Bad Leroy Brown style that has a great Intro.  How is that type of stuff done?

There are several ways, depending on what the INTRO.
You can do this on the keyboard by taking advantage of existing rhythm parts. As in this video.

A more complex method is to use an external XGWorks program. Something like this in the video.

For me, the easiest way would be to play the intro, just like I would play the song. Styles are too complicated for me to modify.
