I want a new firmware update for the psr s975 keyboard, but I can't find the software at all. I have checked Yamaha's official site, but there is not any Firmware 975, why?

Hi Monang,

the predecessor of the PSR-S975, namely the PSR-S970 came out in 2015, and the current firmware update (V1.06) for the S970 is from October 26, 2016.

The PSR-S975 came onto the market in 2018, and it has already integrated the latest software version (V1.06) of the S970 (extended by the additional features of the S975, such as more Expansion Memory and the additional "PLUS" contents ). Since it is a different (newer) model, a lower version should be displayed on the S975.

So, you already have the latest available Firmware on your S975.

your current Firmware version (V1.01) IS already the latest version. As I mentioned above, your S975 is with THIS version already on the same software state as a S970 with version 1.06.

There is no newer version for your S975 available at the moment.

1.06 is for a PSR 770, which is why your keyboard won't load it.

There's no 775 update that I can see.
