Problem with .yep data

Hello,

I bought back in 2014 some expensive expensive Expansion Packs for my S750. Now, I bought the SX900 and own only the .yep files. No .ppr files. I cant login in to my account and the Yamaha MusicSoft is so slow. Is there any chance that I can get the updated ppr files, so I can install the packs with the YEM. These are the following packs.

*Entertainer
*Western Europe
*Church Christmas

I don't know if you've been following the discussion or not but ..

..all the Yamaha packs are now free.

They are having some teething problems with their site though. The tricky bit is logging into your account and getting lucky with the download.

I logged on to the site and ordered the packs for free. The current problem is that I cannot download the packs. After 1 minute the download aborts and shows "Error - Server error". So it seems impossible to download packs.

Any other hints regarding the download?

How long has the website been like this?

It's really unbearably slow and the download is impossible.

Just keep trying and you'll eventually get the download to work. It is frustrating though.

If you will not have success with these free coded CPF file, let me a message with your e-mail and I will try to give you PPF for your pack.
I also have an request, I want your YEP file, in order to see if inside exist voices visible on YEM without lock.
Using this method of selection I have now few (14) voices free of constraints. I don't like CPF, if I want a car I will buy, I will not rent.

I have a different problem here: I've got all the expansion packs for free, 36 or so, and downloaded them, but there's no PSR-A series version; only the PSR-S and PSR.SX appears. Tryed to import the pack with the related PSRS/SX variant, but says it's incompatible. Or did I'm missing something? From all the packs I've got from the site, I got all of them. There's no ppf nor ppi file, only cpf. Will I be forced to buy a psr-sx/s keyboard or are some alternatives?

which Packs are you particularly interested in? Many Packs also have a .ppf version that can then also be used on the PSR-A3000.

I have downloaded many of these Packs as .ppf versions in the past and some of the download links still work. Therefore please write if possible which Packs you are interested in (or are NOT interested in).

as you said "PSR-A series": Are you talking about PSR-A2000 or PSR-A3000?

The A2000 can only load one Pack (.yep format) at a time, and the .yep format was completely discontinued by Yamaha.


The A3000 is compatible with the current .ppf/.cpf format, but on the new Yamaha MusicSoft shop many Packs are not available as a .cpf version for the A3000.

Therefore, if you are interested on Packs for the A3000, please state the NAMES of your favorite Packs here. Then I can search my hard disk, and maybe I can find some of the Packs in .ppf format that can be used with the A3000.

Unfortunately I cannot post a complete list of ALL .ppf packs that I currently have. (There would be too many, and that is beyond the scope of this thread. )


P.S.
The A3000's Expansion Wave Memory is approximately 512 MB. So you can only install a few Packs anyway. Even on the Genos (which has 3 GB of Expansion Memory), by far not all of the free Yamaha Packs currently available can be installed.
